Gear pumps are simple and tolerate dirt, which suits dump trucks. Piston pumps cost more and handle higher pressure, and some versions vary the flow to the load. PTO adapters are available for both.

Industrial pumps
NETZSCH progressive cavity pumps move viscous and abrasive media with steady flow. DRAGFLOW hydraulic submersible slurry pumps run from a hydraulic circuit, which avoids electric motors in wet work.
What to send for a pump quotation
- A photo of the pump nameplate.
- Displacement (cc per revolution) and rotation direction.
- Drive type: PTO or motor, and the flange or PTO type.
- Working pressure.
- The machine it fits.
- The quantity.
